Paul Francis Ditman was born October 2, 1961, the seventh of nine children. His family lived in Greenbelt Md at the time, and moved to Silver Spring when Paul was 2. Paul graduated from Albert Einstein High School. He worked as an auto mechanic for a few years, and then became a computer specialist.
Paul lived in Cape Cod for a few years and later in Vermont, where he married Stephanie Paige. In 2004 they moved with their dogs to South Carolina, where he continued to work by long-distance for a large company in Vermont, managing their computer network. He was on a business trip to Vermont when he passed away suddenly of a heart attack on October 15, 2007.
Paul was multi-talented, turning his hand to everything from mechanics, to painting and sculpture. His most recent project was the installation of a solar panel to provide power for his shop.
He was sensitive and caring, loved by family and friends. Paul kept in contact with his parents and all his siblings regularly, although they are scattered all over. He kept in contact with friends from his early years, even after moving away. He will be greatly missed.
